The Story Behind the Doctor
Dr. Mahfuz Ariff is a board-certified clinical oncologist practising in Kolkata, India. After completing his DM in Medical Oncology from a premier institute, he trained in advanced immuno-oncology protocols and precision medicine. Over 35+ years he has treated thousands of patients across breast cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, lymphomas, and leukaemias. He is known for his empathetic bedside manner, his commitment to making complex treatments understandable for patients, and his relentless pursuit of the latest in cancer research. He regularly presents at national and international oncology conferences and has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers.
Medical Educator: He serves as a course coordinator for the Diplomat in National Board (DNB) program in Radiotherapy and teaches the DRT Course at the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal.
